hard work.

Nothing wrong with a little hard work. I especially enjoy those purely physical tasks that I can do without devoting any kind of real focus. That way, I can work and ponder things at the same time. Great for problem solving.

Glad you've prepared for winter. My firewood generally consists of broken fence posts and the trees that the wind has blown across that fence to break those posts.

Feeling stiff today?

Oh I thought you meant all the jokes which come with, "Hey look at my wood."
Stay warm this winter.

After moving into the mountains (I mean, relative mountains) things are gonna get colder (I mean, relatively colder). I spend a lot of time thinking about wood now, and how much a cord is, and how many cords I could get out of the several big pines we have on our property . . . a nice stacked pile of wood ready to season is like a beacon for me right now.
